I started photography in my teens using the Kodak disposable cameras to take pictures of family and friends. In my twenties I bought my first SLR, a Canon AE1 with a kit lens. I mostly shot on Kodachrome 64 slide film so that we could have youth group slide show evenings and I still have boxes of old slides in the loft – probably a fire hazard!
In the digital age I bought a Canon EOS10D for the family snaps and lost a bit of interest in photography for a while. I now own an EOS 7D Mark2 with a Sigma 150-600 zoom which is great for wildlife and sports photography.
Being in a camera club has rekindled my interest in photography and I am actively trying my hand at action photography whenever the opportunity presents itself.
